There are a few common symptoms that can occur when your brakes need servicing, these may include:

  • Lack of response - brake lever or pedal may feel spongy

  • Pulsing - with a light touch the lever or pedal may deliver a pulsing sensation

  • Squealing - upon braking a squealing noise may be heard

  • Grinding - upon braking a grinding noise may be heard

  • Poor function - even with heavy application of the brakes little speed is lost
